This early-flowering dwarf variety takes its name from the netting that surrounds the bulbs. The bulbs will showcase fragrant purple flowers with a striped white throat and bright yellow central blaze. Blooms of this flower have 3 large spreading or pendent fall petals, alternating with 3 erect, often smaller, standard petals, with tubular, sharply-pointed, ribbed leaves. Iris is a species of flowering plant in the family Iridaceae. It is native to Russia, the Caucasus, and northern Iran, but cultivated widely in temperate regions.
